Vintage 1970s 1980s Handmade Silk Sequin Floral Jacket Beaded Puff Sleeve Evening Blouse

Exceptional vintage handmade silk jacket or blouse, dating approximately from the late 1970s to early 1980s.

A truly special statement piece made from black silk and extensively decorated by hand with sequins and beadwork. Bright pink and lilac floral motifs are combined with vivid green leaves, connected by delicate black beaded vines across the entire garment.

The silhouette is beautifully dramatic, with sculptural puff sleeves, long fitted cuffs, a high collar and a row of fabric-covered buttons down the front. The cuffs feature concealed zippers.

The piece is fully lined in a contrasting light-coloured lining and carries the original black and gold “Créatif Anne Deportier” label.

The amount of handwork, the silk fabric and the couture-inspired construction make this a rare and highly decorative vintage piece.
